As part of a collaborative college project, my team and I took on the challenge of redesigning the Urban Ladder website and mobile app using the Design Sprint methodology. Our goal was to enhance the user experience, visual aesthetics, and overall functionality, making the platform more intuitive and engaging for modern users.
Approach:
✔ Understand: Conducted user research, competitor analysis, and identified pain points in the existing design.
✔ Define: Mapped out key user journeys and prioritized problem areas.
✔ Sketch & Ideate: Brainstormed multiple design solutions, wireframing the best ideas.
✔ Prototype: Built high-fidelity UI mockups focusing on seamless navigation and visual appeal.
✔ Test & Iterate: Gathered user feedback and refined the design for improved usability.
Our redesign aimed to strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics, ensuring that users could browse and purchase furniture effortlessly. The final concept featured a cleaner UI, improved product discovery, and a more seamless checkout experience.
This project reinforced the importance of rapid prototyping, user testing, and collaboration in creating effective digital experiences.
